Donate unwanted household items on Reuse & Clean Up Days in Contra Costa County. It’s FREE!
What are Reuse days?
Twice a year, single-family households can place gently used items on the curbside near their home FOR FREE! Items are collected and placed in new homes. The program is a partnership between Recycle Smart, Mt. Diablo Resource Recovery, and Republic services to help create jobs, aid those in need, and keep material items of the landfill.
What are Clean Up days?
Items that are not reusable or recyclable can be picked up on the curbside and taken to the landfill at no additional charge. This happens the day AFTER Reuse Day.
